This is a fun page for our family to provide because we love to find bargains on books and educational materials! A family hobby is to collect quality used books from used books sales and rummage sales.
There are two parts to this page: CNS Materials and Used Books. We will be working to keep this page as current as possible, but please e-mail used book/material requests before mailing an order so we can verify the availability. Shipping information is provided in the notes at the beginning of each part.

DAMAGED or DEFECTIVE CNS MATERIALS
Notes:
1) Damaged/defective items are sold at 50% (with covers) and 75% discounts (without covers -- the content is not affected for guides without covers) from the retail prices.
2) Some reasons why an item would be available for a reduced price: light printing (but still readable), a crunched corner, a cover that does not pass inspection, a crooked right edge cut on a booklet, materials that have been damaged in shipping.
3) If more than one copy is available, the number of copies available is listed in parentheses at the end of the title.
4) You may add an item(s) from the CNS MATERIALS list to your order blank and still pay the low shipping rate of $2.00 per order.
5) Please clearly write the word DAMAGED after each title on the order blank.
STUDY GUIDES in BOOKLET FORMAT: Most of the guides are $5.99 so, the 50% reduced price is: $3.00 per guide ( with cover); $1.50 per guide (without a cover -- the content is not affected in the guides without covers). The covers of all books have been wiped with a damp cloth; each page of board books have been wiped.
If you are interested in knowing the condition of a book(s), send CNS an e-mail listing the title(s). Each book will be rated as follows: AN= AS NEW (The book is in the same immaculate condition in which it was published.) FN= FINE (The book approaches the condition of As New, but without being crisp.) VG= VERY GOOD (This describes a book that does show some small signs of wear, but there are no tears on either binding or paper.) GD= GOOD (The book is in average used and worn condition; it has all pages or leaves present.) FR= FAIR (This describes a worn book that has complete text pages, but may lack endpapers, half-titles, etc.) PR= POOR (This describes a book that is worn but still able to be read. This copy may be soiled, scuffed, stained or spotted and may have loose joints, hinges, pages. etc.)
There are two possible reasons why a book is priced below the regular price of $1.00 for a paperback or $2.00 for a hard cover:
1) The condition may be poorer than we usually like to buy, but it is a well-written book so we still want to make it available, 2) we were able to purchase it for a very low price (sometimes we are able to get good books at rummage sales for as little as 10, 15, or 25 cents!).
