CNS is a home business that was started in 1996 by the Roe family. At the beginning of the Roe family’s eleven-year homeschooling adventure, Chris wanted to use literature-based materials from a biblical perspective, but didn’t find enough available. She began writing literature guides for the books in the TRAILBLAZER series by Dave & Neta Jackson.

AMERICA -- An Integrated Curriculum
America is a two-year literature-based American history curriculum based on the children’s versions of the popular books by Peter Marshall and David Manuel (The Light and the Glory, From Sea to Shining Sea, and Sounding Forth the Trumpet). Reading books include historical fiction and biographies.  America includes the following subjects: American History, Reading, Vocabulary/Spelling, English Grammar, Writing, Geography, Music, Art, Crafts, Science, Health. Bible/Life Application, State/President Study. A complete Answer Key and time line figures are also included.

LITERATURE GUIDES
Literature guides are available in two formats: 
1) Study guides (in booklet form) are available for books by the following authors: Dave & Neta Jackson, Patricia St. John, Elizabeth Yates, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Marjorie Holmes, + more.  Study guides are available for grades 1-12.
2) Mini-guides (printed on 8 1/2” x 11” sheets of 3-hole-punched paper; ready to put in your 3-ring binder) are available for many books relating to world and American history and geography.  CNS offers a quantity discount on mini-guides -- guides for more than 60 titles in varying grade levels (1-12) are now available.
