Notes:  Most of the reading books and the magazine should be available in public libraries or through an interlibrary loan.  I suggest that you purchase the Marshall/Manuel children's books (Year 1) and Great Stories in American History (Year 2) because you will use each of them for many weeks.
     As you scan the book list, you will see that at times students in all reading levels are reading the same books; at other times they are reading different books.
